Mrs. Weber Died at Theresa Home
Funeral Held on Last Wednesday Morning.
     Mrs. Maria Weber, a resident of Theresa for many years, died at her home on Nov. 16 after several years of declining health. She attained the age of almost 87 years.
     The deceased was born Jan 16, 1850, in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Husting. They came to this country in 1855, and made their home in the village of Theresa.
     She received her education in Theresa and Fond du Lac, and on April 14 1874, she was married to Gebhard Weber, who preceded her death in 1917. Mr Weber conducted the brewery in Theresa for many years.
     Mr. and Mrs. Weber were the parents of eight children. Survivors of Alexa and Camilla, Arnold, Bertram, Victor and Cornelius. A son Melville died in infancy, and Waldemar passed away in 1922. Other survivors are a brother, Victor Husting, and a sister, Mrs. Eudoxia Fickert, both of Milwaukee.
     Funeral services were held last Wednesday morning at the Weber home in Theresa, where B.J. Husting. U.S. district attorney, a cousin of the deceased, gave the tribute to this pioneer resident of Theresa. Interment was made in the Theresa cemetery.2

     Mrs. Marie Langenbach
     Mrs. Marie Langenbach, a long time and respected resident of Mayville, after an affliction of three months, with old age at the home of her daughter Mrs. August Ruedenbusch on Horicon Street, only two days after the death of her brother John P. Husting, died herself. She was born on 1st of January 1835 in Luxembourg, which makes her age to be 89 years 5 months and 27 days. When she was 13 years old she came to America with her parents and resided in Theresa. on May 24th 1855 (1856) she married John Langenbach, and to them were born 13 children. In 1905 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, Mr. Langenbach died here on April 26, 1916.
     The survivors are as follows: one sister Mrs. Susanna Kraemer of Fond du Lac, the children are: Mrs. August Ruedenbusch and Mrs. L.S. Seeley of Mayville, Alfred Langenbach of LaCrosse, Mrs. Ed Sauerhering of Mayville, Armand G. Langenbach of West Bend. A daughter Mrs. V. Kuechenberg died in February of this year, she is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
     the funeral will be held on Monday morning from her daughter's home Mrs. August Ruedenbusch, then to St. Mary's Catholic Church and burial will be in the parish cemetery, R. Kramer pastor.4

     A grandson of Solomon Juneau, founder of Milwaukee, Mr. Husting was born in Fond du Lac on Apr 17 1868, a son of John and Mary Husting. He spent his youth in this vicinity, then went to Fargo, N. Dak. In Chicago he was employed by the Chicago Herold. He was married to Anna Tscharuer, who died on Dec. 31, 1949.
     Mr. Husting is survived by a daughter. Lucille Husting, Chicago; and two brothers; Leo and Gustav, of Madison. He was preceded in death by the brother Otto, Paul, Bonduel, and Berthold, and the sister Mrs. C.W. Lamoreaux.4

     Surviving are a daughter Lucile Husting, Chicago, and two brothers, Leo and Gustav, Madison. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Otto, Paul, Bonduel and Berthold and a sister Mrs. C. W. Lamoreaux.1
